The first of these promotions will take place at the opening game against New Mexico State. The annual Sun Devils Serve game will take place under the lights in Sun Devil Stadium. Fans are encouraged to wear gold.
The weekend of Sept. 9, when the Sun Devils take on San Diego State, the game will feature Faculty Staff Appreciation and City of Tempe Night. This game will also be dedicated to the memory of the late, great former ASU football coach, Frank Kush.
Following a one-game road stand, the Sun Devils will return home on Saturday, Sept. 23 to open Pac-12 play against Oregon. The game will mark the team’s annual Maroon Monsoon event, with all fans encouraged to get decked out in their Maroon gear for the contest. The Sept. 23 contest will also serve as Hispanic Heritage Night.
On Saturday, Oct. 14, the Sun Devils will welcome defending Pac-12 Champion, Washington, to Tempe for Family Weekend. The Oct. 14 matchup will also serve as the 2017 Hall of Fame Game with eight Sun Devils set to be inducted in the 2017 class. Fans are invited to wear black, as the game will also mark the Sun Devils’ annual blackout game.
ASU will close out the month of October with homecoming against USC on Saturday, Oct. 28. The game marks the first ever Stripe Out of Sun Devil Stadium. Fans are encouraged to Stripe Out the stadium by wearing either gold or maroon, based on your section. The Stripe Out map is available here.
