Join the artists of Art Explorers AZ and the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS this Friday for an exciting fundraiser!
The artists involved with Art Explorers AZ, a local community group for creative souls and art appreciators, partnered with the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS to host a unique exhibition and fundraiser. The exclusive collaboration benefits the Southwest Center’s education and treatment programs for low-income patients.
While the exhibition opened on this month’s First Friday, it’s closing artist reception and main fundraising event is happening this Friday, November 18! Art is such an important method of communication and expressing ideas and emotions, and the pieces included in this event are inspired by the trials and triumphs of the ongoing battle against HIV/AIDS in the world.
Friday night’s festivities will include food, artist demonstrations, a silent auction and much more, with no cost for entry.
The community is welcome and encouraged to stop by and meet the artists behind the beautiful artwork while supporting the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS and their dedication to helping patients. 2-D and 3-D artwork in a variety of mediums will be available for sale, just in time for the holidays.
The event will take place at the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS (1101 N. Central Ave. Suite 200) in downtown Phoenix. Don’t miss out on a fabulous chance to support the local artists, the community and an important cause. For more information please visit:the Facebook event page.
