Wine, Women & Shoes benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona
What: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona (BBBSAZ) hosts Wine, Women & Shoes. This exciting event includes a marketplace with boutique shopping, wine tasting provided by Tarbell’s Cha Cha Mouche wine, a chance to purchase a “Key to the Closet”, and a live DJ. Guests will enjoy a luncheon with live auction, an inspirational program, and a live fashion show featuring BBBSAZ Mentors “Bigs” and Mentees “Littles”, with styles provided by Macy’s Scottsdale. 
When: Saturday, August 17, 2024, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Where: Chateau Luxe, 1175 E Lone Cactus Dr, Phoenix, AZ 85024
Why: This event celebrates the power of mentorship; honoring the creativity, generosity, and resilience of our community and highlighting the many reasons youth throughout Maricopa County need support and guidance. The event will also raise funds and awareness to support the need for more mentors throughout Central Arizona. BBBSAZ currently has 200 children on the waitlist ready to be Matched; BBBSAZ aims to find each child an appropriate mentor. This event committee hopes to surpass $200,000 in revenue – enough to fully fund more than 125 Mentor/Mentee relationships for a full year. A live auction will take place at the event and sponsorships will be sold prior. 
Who: Event Co-Chairs Amy Walters and Lena Spotleson will host along with other Wine, Women & Shoes committee members. Susan Casper, Arizona’s Family Community Relations Manager/Community Anchor will serve as the emcee for the event. BBBSAZ board members, BBBSAZ donors and volunteers along with special guests will be in attendance.   
The Golden Heels Sponsors are Amazon, Bell Bank, PAYROC, and Ferguson Showroom with Samsung and Brizo.
