Residents and visitors in southern Arizona should be prepared for a warm, and windy, week of weather ahead!
Temperatures on Wednesday are expected to top 96 degrees following Tuesday’s high of 97. Thursday is expected to be cooler, with a high of 85 degrees. Southern Arizona will be under a high wind advisory from noon until 11 pm on Thursday, due to strong winds up to 35 mph. Gusts may reach as high as 45 mph.
Relative humidity is expected to drop down to between 5 and 10 percent, so a Red Flag Warning will be in effect for Thursday.
Friday will be much cooler with a high of 71 degrees, while Saturday will have a seasonable high of 79 degrees.
