Country music fans, don’t miss out on your chance to see a true living legend to kick off 2018!
Willie Nelson, singer, songwriter, activist and actor extraordinaire, will perform at the historic Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix on Wednesday, January 3.
The 84-year-old doesn’t let his age slow him down, as he still hits the road performing for his beloved fans. He first rose to prominence in the 1970s with critically acclaimed albums Shotgun Willie (1973), Red Headed Stranger (1975) and Stardust (1978). He remains one of the most recognized figures of outlaw country, a subgenre of country music that came about in the late 1960s as a reaction to the more conservative country music of the time. A talented, award-winning individual, Nelson has acted in over 30 films, co-authored several books, and served as a staunch activist for the use of biofuels and the legalization of marijuana.
Tickets are still available for the show and can be purchased online here.
