Sun Devils, kick off the summer right or make one last college memory with your friends after graduation at FORM: Arcosanti, a one-of-a-kind music festival in the high desert.
Drive north for the weekend and immerse yourself in a weekend of music and friendship at this non-profit, urban experiment in community, innovation, design and environmental accountability. Paolo Soleri, the architect behind Arcosanti, found urban planning to be unsustainable because cities were too large and caused isolation and waste. Instead, he set out to build his dream- a fully functioning, environmentally responsible city that was a blend of architecture and ecology. His more natural and social environment is what you’ll find at Arcosanti, making it an ideal place for a weekend of music and memories.
FORM is designed to be a weekend of creative immersion, adventure and retreat in Arizona’s high desert, and 1,500 concertgoers, many of them ASU students or graduates, gather here each may for the annual festival. Pitchfork describes it as the “Festival for the Future.” This year’s event is set for Friday, May 12, through Sunday, May 14, so mark your calendars and get a group of friends together for this once-in-a-lifetime live music weekend! Solange, Skrillex, James Blake, Father John Misty, Future Islands, and Thundercat are all set to take the stage. The New York Times said “Total immersion was the norm at this elegantly designed festival,” while The FADER said it’s “America’s most unique festival.”
