
Tucson Pride’s 40th Anniversary celebration happens this September 29-30! Join the fun on Friday, September 29th for “Pride on Parade” on 4th Avenue starting at 7pm. Then on Saturday, September 30th, be part of history as Tucson Pride hosts its 40th Anniversary “Pride in the Park” at Reid Park from noon to 9pm!
The 40th Anniversary Pride in the Park will be hosted by the legendary Bunny Fufu and Tori Steele, featuring performances by DJ Kash, David Hernandez (American Idol), Berlin, Fly By Midnight, and Daya, plus an all new dance tent and kid friendly zone … we guarantee Tucson has never seen a Pride like this before!

Tucson Pride is an Arizona non-profit corporation and an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that produces and promotes cultural, educational and recreational events for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community in Tucson, Arizona.
TLGA / Tucson Pride was founded in 1977 making it Arizona’s first and longest established LGBTQ organization.
Tucson Pride is a member of the Consolidated Association of Prides, Inc (CAPI) and InterPride (International Association of Prides). Locally Tucson Pride is a member of the Tucson GLBT Chamber of Commerce. Tucson Pride has helped sponsor events in the past for Wingspan, Southern Arizona Aids Foundation and has supported the Turnabout for TIHAN fundraiser. In addition we support other Arizona Pride Organizations located in Casa Grande, Phoenix, Flagstaff, Sedona, Lake Havasu City and Bisbee.
Pride History Week is celebrated in June each year. During this week Tucson Pride supports local businesses in promoting events commemorating the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots and the death of Richard Heakin, here in Tucson in 1976.
Pride on Parade’s mission is to Celebrate the Pride and diversity of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer community. This is a time for all members our community as well as allies to unite and be proud of who they are.
Pride in the Desert is in its 40th year. This event is our annual fundraiser allowing us to continue to give back to the community. The annual attendance is approximately 6000 to 10,000 with about 80 vendors that include retail businesses and non-profits. The entertainment consists of both local and national talent bringing a wide variety of genres.
