Video: Tempe State of the City Address 2017 Presented by Mayor Mark Mitchell

Tempe Mayor Mark Mitchell gave his sixth annual State of the City Address today at the Doubletree by Hilton, 2100 S. Priest Dive, Tempe.  The speech focused on Tempe’s economic accomplishments and look forward to future opportunities. 

This year’s speech featured drone footage of the city including Town Lake,  information about of major Tempe developments, jobs information and a video  featuring key local businesses such as Cartel Coffee Lab, House of Tricks, Mountainpark Health and FABRIC. 

“We’re doing the work in Tempe to not only attract, retain and support business, but we’re building a community that people love,” Mitchell said. “And we’re doing the important work today and planning for tomorrow so that we may continue to evolve and mature, while never forgetting who we are at our core. Because in Tempe, we honor our past. We celebrate the success of today. And we continue to target tomorrow.”
