VIDEO: Paw Placement Celebrates Two Grants
Paw Placement of Northern AZ has reason to celebrate- the nonprofit animal welfare organization recently received two grants that will go a long way in saving the lives of innocent animals.
One of the grants comes from the Allstate Foundation Helping Hands in the Community. The $1000 grant will go toward emergency veterinary bill assistance. The second grant comes from Athletes for Animals, an organization of professional athletes with a shared passion for protecting the welfare of homeless pets across the country. This $2000 grant will fund a trap/neuter/return program for community cats, which will cover the costs of the operation and vaccinating free-roaming felines in Flagstaff and Northern Arizona. Community volunteers are needed to assist in this effort, and those interested are encouraged to call 928-699-7586 for more information.
According to their official website, Paw Placement is committed to ending the euthanasia of unwanted or homeless companion animals and to ensuring that all companion animals living in our region receive the care and support they need to live a high quality life.
To ensure that no dog or cat is euthanized due to treatable medical condition or lack of time or space, Paw Placement works in collaboration with other animal welfare groups.

Paw Placement is proud to offer resources such as:

*A central resource/information center for owners through The Findlay Toyota Pet Resource Line (928-300-4510),
*Vouchers for low-cost and no-cost spay/neuter surgeries,
*Financial assistance for emergency vet care,
*Education programs for animal behavior issues,
*Community Cat Programs including Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) and Working Cats, and
*Advocacy for legislative action.
