Desert Car Care of Chandler welcomes back teachers for the 2019-2020 school year with its 8th annual Back to School Teachers Appreciation event! Teachers are a pillar for the children (and parents!) of our community and with limited budgets, they stay committed to their students, spending an average of $500 of their own money each year on supplies to make sure their students have what they need to learn.
We all have memories of teachers who have inspired us to do great things in life and at seven years old, Frank Leutz, COO of Desert Car Care Center of Chandler was mentored by a junior high music teacher who believed in this ghetto kid that chose to have an affair with a trombone. His tutoring led to multiple performances with the NYC All City Orchestras as 1st position throughout NYC, making several appearances at Carnegie Hall with Alice Tully and Avery Fisher. He also had the privilege of performing with Dizzy Gillespie, Tito Puente, Dave Valentine, Branford Marsalis and Lionel Hampton, as a jazz\salsa musician with the McDonalds Tri State Jazz band.
Teachers see so much talent in their students and do what they can to nurture that and to give back to the community. Frank and his staff offer a gift of preventative maintenance to keep their vehicles reliable. A little vehicular love and peace of mind!
