Join the TCAA team Friday, October 20th at Papago Park!
The Vicinity food festival and cookbook event is from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm at Arizona Heritage Center at Papago Park. Enjoy the night as you sip and sample your way through a global route of a wide variety of local restaurants, bid for your favorite prize, and enjoy everything Tempe has to offer.
Previously kown as First Crush, Vicinity: Internationally Tempe, supports TCAA’s (Tempe Community Action Agency) mission to foster dignity and self-reliance for Tempe citizens while having a good time with food and drinks. This event will showcase a variety of wine, beer and culinary creations. In addition, there will be live music, entertainment, and a silent auction.
Proceeds from this annual event provide critical support to all of TCAA’s safety net services for East Valley residents in need. PROGRAMS: I-HELP, Tempe’s only homeless shelter; Tempe’s largest Food Pantry; Senior Services Home Delivered Meals; 2 Community Gardens; and Health outreach services for pregnant and parenting mothers.
About: TCAA dedicates its resources towards alleviating hunger, poverty, and homelessness through an array of programs that address the basic needs of individuals at all life stages. Combined, these programs benefit over 50,000 adults and children each year.
