Craving sushi?
If you’re in the mood for delicious, Japanese-inspired seafood, vegetables and rice, you’re in luck. A new all-you-can-eat restaurant specializing in sushi just opened this month in the site formerly occupied by Denny’s.
At 3655 E. Speedway Boulevard, specialties such as crab legs and oysters are on offer at Izumi, created by William Cheung. He also operates Hana Tokyo (5435 S. Calle Santa Cruz) and Wok and Roll Asian Buffet (3000 W. Ina Road).
For $25, diners can enjoy all-you-can-eat sushi, including one serving of both oysters and crab legs. With everything from sushi rolls and nigiri to ramen, Izumi caters to many taste buds. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, with an 11 pm close on Fridays and Saturdays.
