The Tucson Steelers are hosting a free youth football camp this upcoming weekend!
Youth ages 5 to 13 are invited to participate in the fun-filled camp, scheduled for Sunday, March 26th, from 9 AM to 12 PM. Young athletes should report to Joaquin Murrieta Park Field #7 on Sunday Morning (1400 N. Silverbell).
At the camp, the team will be highlighting football safety and fundamentals, including passing, blocking, running and catching.
Younger players ages 5 to 7 will go over flag pulling as well.
The team will have lots of equipment out for accurate practice, include tackling dummies, and they will go over tackles that prevent head injuries.
The Steelers coaching staff from all divisions will be out in full force, available to work with the kids one on one.
Parents are encouraged to get their kids out from in front of the television and into the fresh air for some physical activity! For more information, visit the official team website.
