Tucson Family Makes Emotional Plea in Search for Murder Suspect

The heartbroken family of Maria Dolores Escobedo is pleading for the public’s help in finding the man accused of killing the mother of four.

Her close relatives convened Tuesday at the downtown library, handing out fliers and spreading the word about Mario Jesus Dorame, the suspected murderer who has been missing since the 52-year-old woman was found dead inside his home last week.

Her family shared Maria’s love of giving back to the community, including her volunteer work at the food bank in Marana. “She was taken from us too soon and we are trying to come together were asking for help we are asking for support,” said Escobedo’s family.

Her family wants Maria’s murderer to own up to his actions. “Turn yourself in man. You’re a monster what you did, you don’t deserve to be out there in the public.”

Anyone with information about the suspect or this case is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
