Tempe seeking feedback on Town Lake sand volleyball courts

The public is invited to provide input on proposed improvements to the sand volleyball courts on the north side of Tempe Town Lake. An online comment form is available now through Feb. 12 at tempe.gov/forum. A public meeting will be held on Feb. 12 to give the public an opportunity to ask questions in person. Topics will include proposed enhancements and expansion of the courts. 

When: Tuesday, Feb. 12, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Where: Tempe Public Library, Meeting Room A, 3500 S. Rural Road 

City staff will be on-hand to answer questions. Comments provided at the meeting and online will be incorporated into a final recommendation to bring to the full City Council for consideration at a later date. 

This public meeting is the result of the Volleyball Courts on the North Side of Tempe Town Lake Working Group, which is looking at ways to improve and expand the four existing sand volleyball courts in that area. Working group members include Councilmember Joel Navarro, Councilmember Kolby Granville and city staff.
