Follow Marta on an animal-packed journey through the jungle in Tempe Public Library’s newest StoryWalk® installation, Marta! Big & Small, by author Jen Arena and illustrator Angela Dominguez. The book is now on display at the park adjacent to Escalante Community Center, 2150 E. Orange St.

StoryWalk® is a national movement that brings books to life in the outdoors along park trails and pathways. Sequential, interactive displays are installed, encouraging literacy, reading comprehension, and quality family time as children and their parents walk through the pages of a book.

This project is supported by the Arizona State Library, Archives & Public Records, a division of the Secretary of State, with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg Hubbard Library.
