Tempe Public Library will be closed to the public on Thursday, March 5 so the team can take part in Staff Training Day. The library will reopen at 9 a.m. on Friday, March 6. Recreation and human services offices located on the second floor of the building will remain open. This short closure will not affect access to the digital library (e-books, e-magazines, electronic resources, etc.) and returning items at the drive-up book drop.
Library staff will take part in several training sessions to help improve customer service, learn how to enhance service offerings and improve efficiencies. The training occurs once a year, on a day known to have the least impact on library patrons.
