“Krypto!” Welcome to the wonderful world of Academic Field Day at Tempe Prep! Dress up with your team’s Disney movie and show your inner Ratatouille, mighty Hercules, Cinderella and many more. If you want to build race cars blindfolded, drop lightbulbs even despite the wind, and try to ski across the basketball court, then this is the place for you!
Did you see the yellow shirts running around campus? Those were the minions from Despicable Me, the easiest to spot and most definitely the winners of the costume contest! Kudos to Dream Singh and Caleb Britain for the crazy creative t-shirts!
I’m sure we all loved the Lilo and Stitch speaker playing peppy Hawaiian music during the most intense Pictionary or Charades games. Or Space Jam’s sweet jams. The different types of music helped push other teams to the limit.
And of course, congratulations to Team Up for creaming us all. As Rebekah Chadwick from this victorious team puts it, “Why look down on life when you could look Up?” If you were not on Team Up and want a rematch, then keep your schedules clear for the ultimate showdown: Tempe Prep’s Athletic Field Day in the Spring!
