Partake in the return of a great tradition as Old Tucson and Pima County’s Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation celebrate the 28th Annual Ted Walker Youth Day at Old Tucson!
Thursday, Jan. 25th will be a fun day at Old Tucson, as 4th, 5th and 6th grade students across public, private, charter and homeschooling can attend this free educational event. Here, they will learn about the history of the land through Western Living History presentations and educational shows. Local agencies such as Pima County Environmental Education, Territory of the Arizona Buffalo Soldiers, and Arizona Game and Fish Department will provide information stations. This way, kids can learn about the incredible work of these organizations and how they help preserve the past and protect our future.
Please visit the NRPR webpage for more information and to register for Ted Walker Youth Day.
Old Tucson is located at 201 S. Kinney Road and it will be open to the public until 2 p.m. on Ted Walker Youth Day. Adults and kids (ages 4-11) can enjoy discounted admission prices of $11.50 and $7, respectively.
