Southwest Behavioral & Health Services Promotes Tara Lurz to Vice President, Mohave County

Tara Lurz has been promoted to vice president, Mohave County with Southwest Behavioral & Health Services (SB&H). In her new role, Lurz will be responsible for overseeing programs for all SB&H facilities in Mohave County, training and hiring new staff and oversite of client treatment and compliance. Office locations include Bullhead City, Kingman and Lake Havasu City.

“Tara has been with SB&H for five years and is an essential part of our Northern Arizona leadership team. In this new role, we know that she will continue to show her devotion to our clients and the staff across all of our SB&H locations in Mohave County,” said Lauren Lauder, SB&H senior vice president, Northern Arizona.

Lurz, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland University College and her master’s degree in social work from the University of Southern California. Lurz also served on the Veterans Court Treatment Model Presentation Panel at the National Association of Drug Court Professionals (NADCP) conference in Washington D.C. and is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Lurz currently resides in Lake Havasu City.
