It’s going to be a Happy Valentine’s Day for shoppers who purchase gifts at the L. Alan Cruikshank River of Time Riverbanks Gift Shop with a 15% discount and no sales tax! The special Valentine’s sale will be held Friday, February 11th, and Saturday, February 12th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Fountain Hills’ newest gift shop is stocked with beautiful Southwest-style jewelry, hand-crafted one-of-a-kind fabric purses and gorgeous desert art. The younger Valentines will enjoy receiving the popular crayon rocks, design stencils or a Stella Luna stuffed bat. An excellent gift for kids or adults can be found in the wide selection of books with topics ranging from the history of such local icons as Dr. Carlos Montezuma to field guides with stunning pictures of area wildflowers.
Special guest artist and Fountain Hills’ first resident, Sally Atchinson, will be on hand in the River of Time Art Gallery from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. to talk about her new exhibit “Desert Blooms” and share information on early days in the Town. Ms. Atchinson’s art, including miniature paintings, colorful scarves and hand painted greeting cards will be featured and for sale in the Riverbanks Shop. All exhibited paintings are also for sale.
The River of Time is now open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
