“The idea to create this hub of information resulted from our desire to help our clients. In mid-March many of our clients were forced to transition from onsite operations to a work at home model in a short time and we noticed that everyone was making their own checklists and many were starting from scratch,” said Shashi Jasthi, CEO. “We decided that we needed one place where we can share best practices and resources to help each other make better checklists, and benefit from the collective expertise.”
The COVID Guide provides a hub of specialized materials that will be continuously updated to support and assist businesses as the situation evolves. The idea for lists has spurred from the mind of Atul Gawade who states in his book, “The Checklist Manifesto” that checklists are a powerful tool for precision and improved outcomes in any profession. The reason is simple: the volume and complexity of knowledge today has exceeded our ability as individuals to deliver it consistently, correctly, and safely.
