This Saturday is set to be a phenomenally fun day for Flagstaff families. This year’s Snowflake Festival will take place on December 17, offering an array of activities for people of all ages, especially the little ones!
Downtown Flagstaff will transform into a winter wonderland for this family-friendly event. In the morning, the Orpheum Theater will host a free showing of the classic Christmas movie Elf, presented by the Downtown Business Alliance.
Next, families are invited to head to the visitor center in the Historic Train Station to visit Santa. St. Nick will be offering photo opportunities for children from 2-4 pm. On personal devices, photos are free, or you can pay $1 for a polaroid copy.
Carolers from Northern Arizona University will be on hand, entertaining guests with their renditions of holiday classes and setting the mood for a festive celebration! There will be a variety of activities, crafts and games for families to enjoy, including ornament and luminaria decorating.
In the spirit of the holiday season, there will be a donation bin on hand for new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots.
