Authorities are urging residents to keep their eyes open for 83-year-old Earl Purdue.
Glendale Police issued a SILVER Alert for Purdue after he left his home without his wife’s knowledge. He drove off in his daughter’s vehicle, a white 2002 Lexus/GS300 with Arizona License plate – AWG2888 and was last seen near 51st and Olive.
The alert describes Purdue as a white, 5-foot-11 male weighing 220 pounds with grey hair and blue eyes. When he left home he was wearing a long-sleeve button-down shirt with blue and white stripes. His family is concerned as he suffers from dementia and Alzheimer’s. He uses a colostomy bag and needs daily medication for heart problems and neurological disorders.
The Lexus vehicle had a full tank of gas and could travel about 330 miles before being filled up. Purdue may have his ID, debit card and $2 cash with him. The debit card has not been used as of yet.
