A midtown video game shop turned into a crime scene over the weekend.
Robbers drove a vehicle through the front of the GameStop building at Crosswoods Festival on Campbell Avenue and Glenn Street around 1:50 a.m. on Saturday. The car came through the store’s front window, and multiple suspects then got out and stole items from inside.
According to the Tucson Police Department, the suspects assaulted a man who tried to stop them before they fled the area. Police say they are still on the loose and the investigation is active and ongoing.
The storefront was heavily damaged in the incident.
