Road safety is a huge priority for law enforcement in northern Arizona, as officers want everyone to reach their destinations safe and sound.

Now, the Flagstaff Police Department has received an extra boost to prevent accidents on the road. The Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety recently awarded FPD a $4,466 grant for the purchase of 200 traffic safety cones.

The reflective cones are an important tool in accident prevention and warning motorists of major incidents such as crashes, traffic jams, community gatherings and training sessions.
