There is an abundance of cats at the Pima Animal Care Center in Tucson, waiting for good homes.
In the past few weeks, nearly 180 cats have been sheltered at the center, mostly from five separate scenes of extreme animal hoarding. Many of these animals needed medical care and patient attention to become comfortable in their new surroundings.
As an animal abuse investigation expands to more homes in Tucson, the Pima Animal Care Center is looking for people willing to adopt the cats and give them forever homes.
If you or someone you know is interested in adopting, please call 520-724-5984 or visit the official website HERE. The community is also welcome to make tax-deductible donations to cover the cost of caring for the cats and other animals.
The community is also welcome to stop by the shelter, located at 4000 N Silverbell Rd, Tucson, AZ 85745. The shelter is open 12 PM-7 PM on weekdays and 10 AM-5 PM on weekends.
