Phoenix Children’s Hospital KTAR Give-A-Thon
Now in its 22nd year, Give-A-Thon is the country’s largest radiothon for a children’s hospital. Last year’s event raised $1.8 million for Phoenix Children’s Hope Fund, a critical source of funding for the areas of greatest need. It costs nearly $2.7 million per day to operate Phoenix Children’s. Patients are accepted regardless of their ability to pay, and about 50% of patient families have little or no private medical insurance. Without the help of generous donors and partners, the hospital could not provide the lifesaving care Phoenix Children’s is renowned for. The Give-A-Thon fundraising goal this year is $2 million. People can tune in to the KTAR News 92.3 FM and 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station Give-A-Thon for Phoenix Children’s, brought to you by Valley Hyundai Dealers and Ak-Chin Indian Community, from August 15 to 19, 2022. All week long, they’ll be sharing inspiring stories of hope and healing, live Give-A-Thon updates and hour-by-hour special giving opportunities. For more information visit
