While prom season may still be a few months away, one special group of people celebrated early.
On Friday, February 9th, hundreds of volunteers teamed up for “A Night to Shine,” presented by the Tim Tebow Foundation. Held at the Compass Christian Church in Chandler, this event involved more than 500 different churches and welcomed nearly 300 people with special needs.
This very unique dance celebrates those with special needs and makes their dream prom night come true. It’s a dazzling display of lights, cameras and action, with a scene straight out of Hollywood. Guests don corsages and crowns and are greeted with a red carpet entrance and paparazzi.
Each attendee is paired up with a buddy for the biggest prom party, sponsored by the famous footballer player’s foundation.
This night gives those with special needs the chance to feel celebrated and appreciated. For more information on how you can help and give to this foundation to support more Nights to Shine, please visit the official website here.
