A string of car burglaries has the Northern Arizona University Police and community on alert.

NAU Police are searching for a suspect in recent vandalism and burglaries on-campus. In most of the cases, the crimes have taken place in parking garages involving unsecured vehicles- however not all of the incidents fit this description.

The suspect is described as a college-aged white male, wearing a flat-billed baseball hat that’s bill is darker than the top. He has dark, neck-length hair that sticks out from his hat.

Surveillance video shows him in a dark-colored jacket over a grey hoodie and light colored skinny jeans. He was carrying a drawstring bag.
