LOST OUR HOME PET RESCUE TELETHON

Lost Our Home Pet Rescue is hosting a virtual telethon through social media to raise money during the COVID-19 crisis. The two-hour telethon begins at 3pm on their Facebook page @lostourhome. Jan D’Atri will host the event full of Cinco de Mayo food and drink recipes, musical guests, pets, funny videos like a pet fashion show, and special guests. Viewers will hear heartwarming stories from the shelter’s various adoption and foster programs and also learn how to get involved with the organization.

Lost our Home Pet Rescue is in desperate need of dry and canned puppy and kitten food, large dog foster families and monetary donations. They also need bleach and dry and canned dog and cat food.

About Lost Our Home Pet Rescue

Lost Our Home was founded in 2008 in response to the thousands of pets in need as a result of the economic downturn in general, and the Phoenix-area foreclosure crisis in particular. They are the only shelter in Maricopa County dedicated to rescuing pets abandoned or at risk of homelessness due to pet parents’ life crises: eviction, domestic violence, job loss and illness. They have saved the lives of over 8,200 pets, reunited more than 800 pets with families through their Temporary Care Program by providing over 75,000 days of care, and fed 17,000 pets through their Pet-Food Bank Program.  They also have a partnership with the Sojourner Center, the largest domestic violence shelter in Arizona, in which they operate a pet shelter on their campus so that woman escaping domestic violence can have their pet with them.  To learn more about Lost Our Home Pet Rescue, visit LostOurHome.org, or call (602) 445-7387 (PETS).
