The parents of an Avondale teenager killed in a drunk driving incident are heartbroken over their loss, and they are speaking out about the seemingly light sentences for the driver who got behind the wheel intoxicated.

Jaqueline Pacheco was just 18 years old with her whole life ahead of her when the car she was riding in slammed into the back of a semi trailer. The driver had a suspended license, and had just been convicted of a DUI a few weeks before the smash. That individual is out of jail once again, and it’s a tough pill to swallow for Jacqueline’s family. The driver is accused of his third DUI and is walking free, while the family faces a gaping hole in their hearts with the loss of Jacqueline.

19-year-old Gabino Mantancillas remains out of jail despite his apparent crimes.
