Humana to Host Veterans Resource Fair, March 29

Veterans, their families and the public are invited to a Veterans Resource Fair on Friday, March 29, 2019, which is also National Vietnam War Veterans Day. The resource fair will take place at the Humana neighborhood location in Mesa from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

There will be guest speakers, entertainment, and refreshment. Various veterans service organizations will be at the event to provide information and resources, including the Mesa Vet Center, Vets’ Community Connections, the Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services, and Bugles Across America.

Author Nancy Fassbender will be reading excerpts from her book, “My Fallen Hero,” a collection of stories about fallen soldiers from Pinal County. Nancy was a Specialist in the 24th Medical Unit with the Nebraska Army National Guard and currently serves as the historian for the Pinal County Veterans Memorial Foundation, doing research on fallen soldiers and preserving their histories in writing.

Humana has a longstanding relationship with the military and is committed to the well-being of all veterans. Veterans and their families can learn how Humana provides guidance and clarity on veterans health care and wellness matters at the event.
