Goodwill’s Reclaimed Fashion is Nov. 23 in Tempe

Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona is partnering with nine fashion Instagram influencers from around the Valley to host Reclaimed Fashion, an exclusive shopping event, on Nov. 23 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Priest & Elliot store located at 7850 S. Priest Dr. in Tempe.

This Reclaimed Fashion we will have three panel discussion. First “Find It, Fit It, Flaunt It” where you’ll learn how you can build your confidence, not only in what you wear, but also in who you are. Second “Fashionably Green” will be all about sustainability and ecological integrity. Lastly “Become a Flippin’ Expert” where you’ll learn how to repurpose clothing.

Each contributor will present a rack of handpicked unique clothing and accessories that they found at their neighborhood Goodwill that you can shop! Purses, tops, sweaters, dresses—no matter the item, everything embodies the style of each contributor. Whatever your style, you’re bound to find something from this highly curated selection.

Reclaimed Fashion and our partnership with several Valley fashion influencers has been a really fun way to attract Gen Z  and millennial shoppers,” said Courtney Nelson, vice president, marketing and communications at Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona. “Gen Z and millennials tend to be heavily engaged on social media platforms, so we’re reaching them through our influencers. We have also elevated our photography and overall marketing strategy to reach new audiences. Thrift shopping has become trendy and cool over the last few years and it’s fun to see what people are able to create out of secondhand clothes, furniture and more.”
