Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona is pleased announce Bryan P. Smith has joined the nonprofit as Mission Engagement and Economic Development Manager. In this role he will manage the engagement strategy for the Mission Services department with workforce development stakeholders around Arizona including non-profits, government agencies and employers, adapting the provision of Goodwill’s services to the diverse needs of the state’s regional economies


Bryan began his career in Economic Development at the Greater Phoenix Economic Council where he held several roles in his nearly five year tenure – from research and analytics to executing the business attraction strategy for emerging technology companies. Bryan’s projects have generated a direct economic impact of over one thousand new jobs, seventy million dollars in annual payroll and three hundred thousand square feet in real estate absorption.


He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability from Arizona State University and a Master of Urban and Environmental Planning from Arizona State University. Bryan is active in numerous organizations dedicated to furthering Arizona and International Economic Development as well as developing leadership and civic engagement in local young professionals.
