You’re invited to join fellow business leaders for a morning of conversation and connections as we host GALLUP for an abbreviated overview of the recent report, ‘State of the American Workplace’.  Learn about the latest Workforce and Business Retention efforts on behalf of the Gilbert Chamber Foundation and hear from Mayor Jenn Daniels as she shares an overview of the latest economic development announcements, workforce projections, and industry needs.

The workplace is changing: Employee engagement is low, many companies are failing to attract and retain women in the workforce, and millennials want more than just a job to collect a paycheck — they want a purpose in their work. As emerging technologies transform the way we work, 43% of employees are working remotely, and 84% of employees are matrixed to some extent.

DESCRIPTION: The Public Policy Speakers’ Series is an exclusive Chamber-member only dialogue with key government officials who will be on-hand to share the latest in their areas of expertise and answer questions from members on important topics impacting our businesses and community.

 

ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Dorn Policy Group has represented the East Valley Chambers of Commerce Alliance since 1999 at the State Capitol. Join us as Dorn provides a recap from the last session along with some of the “inside baseball” information on the upcoming session.
