Fulton Homes “Be An Energy Star” Program Will Help Pay Your Energy Bill

TEMPE, Ariz. From switching to LED bulbs, replacing air filters and adjusting thermostats, steps to reduce energy waste at home can make a big difference in the wallet.  Fulton Homes wants homeowners to save money this summer through its Be An Energy Star program, a Valley-wide promotion conducted in partnership with ALT AZ 93.3 FM.

“At Fulton Homes we believe that families deserve homes with a better value for today and a better investment for tomorrow,” said Dennis Webb, vice president of Fulton Homes. “We’re not only committed to building energy-efficient homes, but also to proactively educate homeowners on reducing energy waste. We have a long history of being focused on energy efficiency, which sets us apart from other homebuilders here in Arizona and across the U.S.”

Valley radio station ALT AZ 93.3 FM will air a Fulton Homes Energy Star segment every Tuesday, during the 3 p.m. hour with afternoon drive personality Dustin Carlson.  The segment will feature energy star savings tips and ideas to educate homeowners on how to live a more sustainable life. Listeners can sign up for the contest by going to and filling out a questionnaire about their energy use. In an effort to crowdsource some energy tips and tricks, entrants are encouraged to tell the station how they conserve energy. Each month, one lucky winner will have their energy bill paid-in-full, up to $500.

“To increase energy efficiency involves more than just using less energy,” added Webb. “By becoming aware of how energy is used, homeowners can learn where it is wasted and make changes that will ultimately end up saving them money.”

In April, Fulton Homes was recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for the sixth consecutive year. The homebuilder received the 2020 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence Award, the highest honor among ENERGY STAR awards, ranking Fulton Homes in the top 1% of all 68,000 Energy Star partners in the United States.

Fulton Homes has also received five consecutive Indoor Air PLUS® Leader Awards for its dedication to reducing indoor air pollutants and improving the indoor air quality. As Arizona’s largest family-owned and operated homebuilder, the Tempe-based company was named among the 2019 Top 100 homebuilders by Builder magazine, a national publication.
