Travelers in Tucson will soon have another option for flying. On Tuesday, Aug. 7, discount carrier Frontier Airlines announced flights from Tucson will begin again in November.
Frontier previously operated flights out of Tucson until 2012, and the airline’s return to southern Arizona will start with four non-stop flights every week.
The Denver-based airline is a low-cost, no-frills airline, created in 1994 and currently boasting the slogan of “Low Fares Done Right.”
Currently, the airline is offering a special on one-way tickets to Denver from Tucson for $29. Book on www.flyfrontier.com by Thursday, Aug. 9 to take advantage of the deal before it expires. One way that Frontier cuts costs is by not including checked baggage and carry-on fees in ticket prices. If travellers need to bring these bags along, they will have to pay extra.
