Free waves, swim lessons, CPR demos at April Pools Day on April 6 at Kiwanis Wave Pool

Get ready to enjoy the waves at Kiwanis Wave Pool as we kick off the swim season with April Pools Day on Saturday, April 6 from 1-5 p.m. Bring out the family for water safety activities, CPR demonstrations, swim lessons and a special visit from the Tempe Fire Medical Rescue team. Welcome the return of weekend waves in the warm, indoor waters of the Kiwanis Wave Pool.  Admission is free. For more information, visit tempe.gov/waves or call 480-350-5201.

What: Water safety activities, swim lessons, CPR demos, firefighters, waves, etc.  

April Pools Day is meant to encourage families to have fun and to swim safely this summer by taking swim lessons and learning CPR and other safety techniques. A special thanks goes out to this year’s event sponsors including SRP, Drowning Prevention Coalition of Arizona, Tempe Fire Medical Rescue and Arizona Department of Health Services.
