Kids in the foster care system were treated to a wonderful day of fun this past weekend.
For the third year in a row, Foster Family Fun Day gave children the chance to forget about their worries and just play.
Presented by Arizona Helping Hands, a nonprofit that helps foster families provide a safe and secure home for kids in the foster care system, this event was much-appreciated for young kids in the Department of Child Safety system. AHH programs give these children happy experiences and much-needed donations to make their lives a little bit brighter.
Kids and families gathered at the Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale for a memorable afternoon of free fun. Last year, AHH gave nearly 3,000 beds and cribs to families with foster kids throughout the state. Their donations include clothing, diapers and special birthday packages.
