Flagstaff Snow Park Welcomes Visitors For First Time This Year

After a wintery start to the weekend, Flagstaff families got to enjoy one of the area’s finest recreation areas.

Flagstaff Snow Park officially opened for the first time this weekend, welcoming skiers, snowboarders and tubers for a day of fun and fresh powder.

Six inches of snow fell in Flagstaff on Friday, giving the snow park the necessary precipitation to serve its visitors. The weekend high in Flagstaff was as low as 25 degrees, which is more than 20 degrees below normal for the date. With a below-freezing Saturday, the weather was prime for a cold and chilly yet memorable outdoor adventure.

Flagstaff Snow Park is popular place for snow-lovers of all ages, who can enjoy a variety of activities in this winter-wonderland.

For more information about the park, located within the beautiful Fort Tuthill County Park, please visit the official website here.
