Flagstaff Police Investigate Reports of Stalker

Flagstaff Police are continuing their investigation into multiple reports of a stalker targeting teenage girls.

Several students reported similar scary incidents while they were walking to school or waiting at the bus stop. They noticed a man in a white SUV, attempting to lure young women into his vehicle.

The incidents occurred earlier this month, when Flagstaff Police received at least three separate calls regarding a man “cat-calling” 14- to 16-year-old girls.

Two of the incidents occurred at the intersection of East Soliere Avenue and North Country Club Drive, while the third does not appear to be related and occurred near Frances Short Pond.

Flagstaff Police have yet to identify a suspect, but the reports indicated the man was heavyset and Native American, appearing to be in his twenties.
Flagstaff Police are asking the public to report any suspicious behavior involving students on their way to and from school and, if possible, to obtain detailed descriptions of any possible suspects and suspicious vehicles involved, including the make, model and license plate number.
