Change is coming for W.L. Gore and Associates.
The manufacturing company behind waterproof Gore-Tex fabrics is moving out of one of their Northern Arizona locations.
As part of a consolidation process set to begin next year, W.L. Gore and Associates will be moving out of its Fourth Street campus. The nearly 500 employees who work there will be transferred to the company’s west Flagstaff campus on Kiltie Lane. This transition is designed to optimize office manufacturing space and increase efficiency while eliminating complexity.
This move will also allow employees to co-locate common products and processes, instead of traveling across town to work on similar product teams.
