Fire Crews Help Rescue Two Hikers

It was a busy day for Tucson Fire Department crews on Saturday.

Station 4’s Technical Rescue Team and Station 15 units responded to a report of hikers suffering from heat related issues. Crews headed to a trail near Starr Pass to assist the hikers in need.

TFD issued a reminder for all residents and visitors to start their hikes early rather than late, wear sunscreen and hats and drink lots of water.
