Wednesday morning got off to a chaotic start as a driver went into the side of a coffee shop.
Customers and staff inside the Starbucks on Milton Road got quite the fright when a small red car smashed through the side of the store. Thankfully, those inside suffered only minor, non-life threatening injuries in a scary situation that could have been way worse. The driver was not injured, but Flagstaff firefighters had to extract them from the car after the doors of the vehicle were pinned by the window frame.
Flagstaff Fire officials say the driver did not appear to be impaired in any way, and officers are continuing their investigation into the cause of the crash. A large window and part of the building was damaged in the accident.
