Imagine an evening under the stars at one of the valley’s most beautiful locations.
Desert Botanical Garden has been hosting Flashlight Tours all summer long, where guests can catch a glimpse of the gorgeous Sonoran desert sky and beautiful flora and fauna after dark. According to the official DBG website, “Flashlight Tours are sensory adventures through the sights, sounds and mysteries of the desert night. Guests beam their own flashlights along the self-paced trails to capture night-blooming plants and animals that chirp, whirr and flutter in the desert after dark.”
This Saturday’s Flashlight Tours will be extra special, as its Teacher Appreciation Night at Desert Botanical Garden! Just in time for the start of the school year, this is a chance for teachers to partake in a stress-free evening of entertainment. Attendees will be immersed in the amazing sights and sounds of the desert night. Teachers, along with one guest each, can get in for free with a school ID. This complimentary night of Flashlight Tours is open to preschool and K-12 teachers, educators and administrators, as well as those who do home-schooling.
