
Hundreds of locals headed to the City of Yuma’s Cinco de Mayo Celebration last weekend.
This heritage festival provided a family-friendly way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, with a variety of events people of all ages clearly enjoyed. The fun got started early with the Fire Department’s Fire Muster at 8 am. Later on in the afternoon, the historic downtown area came alive with community performances, an array of food vendors offering delicious Mexican food and yummy treats, and business and craft booths selling festive attire for the celebration.
Other fan-favorites included the Yuma Rotary Beer Garden, a pub crawl through all nine drinking establishments in downtown Yuma, and a musical performance from Buyepongo!
