Caturday Saturdays at the Zoo!

Don’t miss out on September Caturday Saturdays at Reid Park Zoo! Every Saturday through September 30th, guests can come on down for a morning full of feline fun!

From 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., there will be presentations and chats with zookeepers, giving people of all ages the chance to learn more about their favorite cats!

Each week will focus on a different cat (or meer”Kat”!) Reid Park’s expert and enthusiastic zoo keepers will share fascinating facts about these felines, answer questions, and feed the animals. There will also be a craft table with fun activities, and the option to get a temporary “CATtoo.” Check out the schedule of events below:

Caturday Saturday activities start at 9:30 with a keeper chat.

September 9: Meer”kat” & Nature Club in Reid Park’s Event Gardens from 9 – 10:30 a.m.

September 16: Tiger & a visit from U of A’s Wilbur & Wilma Wildcat

September 23: African Lion & World Rhino Day– activities include crafts and fun activities from 9 – 11 a.m.

On the evening of September 23rd, there will be a free showing of Lion King in the Reid Park event gardens for zoo members. ]

September 30: Tiger & Nature Play in Event Gardens from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.
