As it prepares to officially celebrate 90 years of serving Arizona later this year, Bashas’ is inviting Arizonans across the state to look back and share the sights, sounds, tastes, and experiences that have permanently etched themselves into their memories.
From now to April 30, 2022, Arizonans can share their Bashas’ memories by visiting Bashas.com/bashas_love/ or by scanning a special QR code and sharing their stories, photos and videos depicting how Bashas’ has played an important role in their lives.
“From a small market in Chandler, to now more than 50 supermarkets across the state, Bashas’ has created a living legacy around family dinner tables and in communities across nearly 114,000 square miles of Arizona,” said Ashley Shick, Bashas’ Director of Communications and Public Affairs. “Through the sharing of stories and experiences, we hope to pay tribute to Bashas’ incredible history and celebrate its impact for generations to come.”
Bashas’ will share the heartfelt stories and memories that it collects during the third quarter of this year, when its anniversary festivities kick into full swing. Bashas’ plans to feature the stories on its website, on its social media platforms, and in its weekly ad from July through September.
During this same time, the grocer will serve up special promotions at every one of its more than 50 supermarkets across the state. Customers can expect to see special price promotions and offers, enhanced community support efforts, and a few extra fun surprises throughout the summer.
Anniversaries are more than a measure of age, but a time to reflect on the significant moments and experiences that have left an indelible mark on people and communities. Bashas’ 90th anniversary is a chance to remember, reflect and celebrate the positive impact that this Arizona grocery icon has had on the state during the past nine decades, and will continue to have for generations to come.
