Bank Robbery Reported at Wells Fargo

Yuma Police officers are investigating a reported bank robbery earlier this month.

The incident occurred during the early morning hours of Saturday, November 4 at the Wells Fargo located at 2507 South Avenue B.

According to police, a woman entered the bank and handed the bank teller a note demanding money. The teller handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of money in return.

Police describe the suspect as a white or light skinned Hispanic female with green eyes, standing around 5’3-5’5 and weighing 180-200 pounds. During the robbery, she was wearing a black head wrap, dark colored sleeveless shirt, blue jeans and was carrying a black purse. She left the building and fled in an unknown direction.
